– James S. Clouse, 79, entered eternal life Friday, September 17,
2010 at St. Peter’s Hospice Inn. James was born in Coeymans son of
the late Salvador and Sarah Pascuzzi Clouse. He was an US Air Force
veteran serving during the Korean War. Jim was a proud member of the
International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Local 197 for 53 years and
had served as President and Business Manager/Secretary Treasurer. He
was also a member of the Coeymans Fire Dept. and the Ravena VFW Post
Survivors include his wife Judith VanDeloo of Coeymans; children,
Salvadore Clouse and his partner Laurie Wellman of Bar Harbor, ME,
James W. Clouse of Coeymans, Matthew W. Clouse of Clifton Park and
Catherine M. Clouse of New York City; sisters, Virginia Douglas of
Rockhill, SC, Mary Jane Fabian of East Greenbush, Julia Clouse of
Oakland, CA, Margaret Clouse of Colonie and Esther Rappold of
Colonie; sister-in-law, Kathleen Valentino of Poughkeepsie;
grandchildren, Isabella, Graydon and Joseph; and many nieces and
nephews. James was predeceased by his sisters Rose Farinelli, Susan
Hansen and brothers Joseph and Peter Clouse.
Funeral services will be held 9 AM Tuesday, September 21st at St.
Patrick’s Church, Ravena. Burial will follow in St. Patrick’s
Cemetery, Coeymans. Friends may call at the Babcock Funeral Home,
Ravena on Monday from 4 to 8 PM.
