RAVENA – Jamie Lynn (Wiseman) Mormile 29, of Ravena, finished her
long and courageous fight with Cystic Fibrosis surrounded by her
husband, family and friends on Thursday, July 8, 2010 at the home of
her parents in Rexford, NY. Jamie was born on September 6, 1980,
she was the “baby bird” of Joey ad Donna Wiseman. She grew up in
Clifton Park, was a graduate of Shenendehowa High School and
received an associate’s degree in criminal justice from Hudson
Valley Community College. Jamie was a caring, compassionate and
strong woman who wasn’t afraid of living for the day. She filled
her life spending time with friends and family, especially her
beloved Boxer Bailey. She worked tirelessly volunteering and
helping out with the Ravena-Coeymans-Selkirk Wrestling Booster Club,
the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Donna M. Crandall
Foundation.
In addition to her parents, Jamie will be deeply missed by her
loving husband of five years, Henry T. Mormile, III; grandmother,
Rose Buck of Herkimer; brother, Joey (Nikki) Wiseman, Jr. of
Clifton Park; sisters, Dusty Urbanski of Rexford and Stacy Urbanski
of Mechanicville; her father and mother in-law, Hank and Janice
Mormile of Ravena; sisters-in-law Sue (Chris) Mielke, Lorraine
(Chip) Bolen, Judy (Richard) Roberts and Marge (Scott) Myers;
several aunts, uncles and cousins; her nieces Destiny (Jamie’s
God-daughter), Summer, Jolie and Audry; nephews, Zachary, James,
Tyler, Scott, Bradley, Riley, Christopher and Stephen all of whom
she loved and took great pride in.
Those wishing to remember Jamie can make a donation to the Donna M.
Crandall Foundation, 50 Traditional Lane, Loudonville, NY 12211. It
was Jamie’s wish to have her family and friends gather and celebrate
her life with a memorial service and reception on Saturday, July 17,
2010 at 4:30 PM at the Clifton Park Fire House, 38 Old Route 146,
(off Exit 9 of the Northway), Clifton Park, NY. |
