BETHLEHEM- Charles H. Court, 89, entered into eternal life on
Sunday, April 15, 2018 at home with his loving family by his side.
He was the son of the late Paul and Elizabeth Court and was raised
on the family farm in Aquetuck. After high school Charles graduated
from Cobleskill College and then served his country in the U.S. Army
during the Korean War. In 2007 he retired from LaFarge Cement Co. in
Ravena after many years of service. In 1954 Charles became a member
of the South Bethlehem United Methodist Church and has been a
faithful member ever since. He enjoyed farming, hunting, the saw
mill and gardening.
Survivors include his loving wife, Ada M. Court; daughter,
Laurie (Dale) Hitchcock; grandson, Robert C.W. Garcelon; brother,
Paul Court, Jr.; sisters, Helen Wilsey and Pauline VanEtten; and
many nieces and nephews. Charles was predeceased by his brother Dale
Court and sister, Jessie Rarick and his grandson, Jeremiah Garcelon.
Funeral services will be held 1 pm on Friday, April 20th
at the South Bethlehem United Methodist Church. Friends may call at
the church prior to the service starting at 11 am. Contributions in
