RAVENA – Richard John (RJ) D’Esposito II (43) entered into eternal
peace on July 23, 2016. RJ was born on March 25, 1973 in Catskill,
NY. He is a graduate of Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida
where he studied music and live sound. Though he never made it to
record production fame, he made an honorable living as a
correctional officer at Coxsackie Correctional Facility.
RJ married Stephanie Dardani of Ravena in 2004. Together they
resided in Ravena and built a loving home with their three
daughters. RJ will be remembered for his patience, thoughtfulness,
and his love of the Chicago Bears. His family remembers him as the
best husband, father, brother and son they could ever have asked
for. Everything he did, from tending to his complicated garden to
completing home improvement projects, was done out of love for his
family.
RJ is survived by his wife, Stephanie; his three daughters,
Kylie, Mikayla, and Gabriella; his mother, Kathleen Steenburn
D’Esposito Beers; his stepmother, Valerie D’Esposito; his father and
mother-in-law, George and Joanne Dardani; his brothers, Neil
D’Esposito, Matthew (Brianna) D’Esposito, and Marc D’Esposito; his
grandmother, Dona Beck; and many cousins, aunts, uncles, and
friends. RJ is predeceased by his father Richard J. D’Esposito Sr.
and his step-father Robert Beers.
Calling hours are scheduled for Wednesday, July 27th, from 9:30 to
11:30 at St. Patrick’s Church in Ravena. A funeral mass will begin
at 11:30 directly after calling hours. In lieu of flowers, a
college fund has been established for RJ’s daughters. Contributions
to the D’Esposito College Fund can be mailed to: The Bank of Greene
County, Attn: Ravena Branch, PO Box 470, Catskill, NY 12414. |
