Mary was devoted to her family and was a force of encouragement in all of their pursuits. Her favorite times were spent with family and friends enjoying summers at Brant Lake.  A lifelong Pittsburgh Pirates fan, she enjoyed watching MLB games with her husband. Mary was best known for her wit, kindness, and inquisitive nature.  She will be profoundly missed by all who knew her.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Richard Hager of Ravena; her daughter, Susan Serviss; and granddaughter, Afton Serviss, both of Guilderland.  She was predeceased by her brother, Aldo Conte; and sister, Angeline (Peter) Nescot; and son-in-law Daniel Serviss.
