RAVENA – Guy F. Hallenbeck, 85, left his earthly
dwelling to join his beloved wife Antionette “Dolly” Hallenbeck on
January 30, 2014. Guy was an Army Veteran serving during the Korean
War as a paratrooper. In 1981 he retired from Tobin Packing Co.
where he had worked as a supervisor for many years. He was also a
communicant of St. Patrick’s Church in Ravena.
Guy was predeceased by his wife, Antionette “Dolly” Bonacci
Hallenbeck. Survivors include his children, Richard (Teresa)
Hallenbeck of Delmar, Dennis Hallenbeck of Tupper Lake, and Deborah
Hallenbeck of Delmar. Guy was the beloved Poppy to his
grandchildren, Lindsey Bradt, Erica Roccario, Danielle Nagengast,
Alyssa Amell, Richard Adam Hallenbeck, and Ryan Peter Hallenbeck; 3
great grandchildren, Aiden and Landon Amell and Lauryn Bradt;
sisters, Mary Hallenbeck and Gertrude Beecher.
Funeral services will be held 9:00 AM Monday, February 3, at St.
Patrick’s Church, Ravena. Entombment will follow in St. Patrick’s
Cemetery, Coeymans. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday
from 3 to 6 PM. Contributions in memory of Guy may be made to the
