HOLLOW – On January 24, 2019 Kenneth Edward Morse was welcomed into
our loving Lord’s arms where his parents Lucien and Charlotte Morse
and his brother Gerald were awaiting him.
Ken’s love of music, country of
course, hunting and fishing were surpassed only by his love for
family and friends. He is survived by his brother Ronald Morse,
loving wife of 62 years Nancy (Carkner) Morse and three children
Leslie (Jacqueline) Morse, Sherry (Michael) O’Brien and Lisa
He was adored by his grandchildren;
Ryan (Jing) Morse, Stephanie (Ian) Cummings, Kristen (Elijah) Done,
Eric O’Brien, Erin (Charlie) Thiele, Taylor O’Brien, Riley O’Brien
and his great grandchildren; Sophie Morse, Thomas (Gabriel)
Cummings, Lucas Cummings, Elsie and Emma Done and Haylee Thiele.
He and Mom visited us regularly,
teaching us the immeasurable lesson of what it meant to love and be
loved. Something we carry with us every day.
Many a summer day was spent with
family and friends at the “Big and Little” lakes in Orwell Vermont
where countless fish stories were told, even some about fish that
didn’t get away.
Ken first picked up a guitar at age
10 and never put it down, playing until the end. Over the years he
belonged to a number of bands, but he would be best remembered for
playing with his cousin and close friend Raymond Jones sharing many
Ken served our nation during the
Korean War belonging to Legion Post 1493, never forgetting those
that served with him.
