Thursday, May 21 2020 Rose Panicola, passed away at the age of 82 at
home surrounded by her immediate family in Ravena NY
Rose is survived by
4 children: Vito Panicola, Steven Panicola, Maria Lucas, and
Fredrick Pechette; 10 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and many
nieces, nephews and extended family. She is predeceased by her
parents Salvatore & Salvatrice Trento, her husband Victor "Vito"
Panicola, and 12 siblings (9 brothers all veterans of WW2 & 3
Rose Trento was
born on August 18, 1937 in Brooklyn NY making her the 12th of 13
children to Salvatore & Salvatrice Trento. She married Victor
Panicola and resided with him in Queens NY until his death in 1967.
She worked as a waitress for The Owl Tavern for 14 years until
moving to Cairo NY in 1981 with her 4 children.
Rose was a devoted
Mother and Grandmother, Aunt, and friend. She was very creative and
enjoyed painting, sewing, puzzles, cooking, crafts, and handyman
work. She passed on her creative gifts to 3 generations of family,
and friends. She was a fan of Elvis and Frank Sinatra. She enjoyed
Tennis, The Olympic games, and various other sports. She donated to
Locks of Love and was an advocate of The Ronald McDonald House. She
will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
