NEW BALTIMORE – Frank Trombley of New Baltimore entered into eternal
life on February 5, 2016 at the Teresian House Center for the
Elderly in Albany, he was 98. Born of February 8, 1917 he was the
son of the late Frank L. and Marie Lezette Trombley of Coeymans. He
retired from Sterling Drug Manufacture Company in 1979 where he
worked as a Chemical Operator. Frank was a communicant of St.
Patrick’s Church, Ravena and an active member of the Coeymans Fire
Company in his younger days and until his late 70’s remained active
in many church and community functions.
Frank is survived by his son, Kirk (Sandra) Trombley of New
Baltimore; 9 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; 3
great-great-grandchildren; son-in-law, Louis Meyer of Ravena; and
daughter-in-law, Barbara Trombley of Watervliet. Frank was
predeceased by his wife of 73 years, Dorothy Collier Trombley;
daughter, Geraldine Meyer; son Ronald Trombley; sisters Ethel
VanAlstyne, Florence Sorrell and Ruth Travis; brothers, Kenneth,
and Russell Trombley; and granddaughter Karen (Meyer) Trocholides.
Friends may call at the Babcock Funeral Home, Ravena between
the hours of 4 and 6 PM on Monday, February 8, 2016. A Roman
Catholic Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 AM February 9, 2016
at St. Patrick’s Church in Ravena. Interment will follow in St.
Patrick’s Cemetery, Coeymans.

Ladder Company of New Baltimore or the Teresian House Center for the
Elderly in Albany, with our sincere thanks and gratitude for the
